There’s a very cool, new utility you can install on your Blog which will allow you or your readers to easily highlight some of your best Blog content and share it with their friends.

The utility is called Highlighter, and it was created by the guys at Unique Blog Designs.

If you want to see how it works, simply highlight this sentence on my Blog and wait a few seconds.

You should see a the Highlight bubble pop up which looks like this:

It will allow you to either “Save This”, “Share It” or “Comment”.

It’s a very simple, but useful utility.

One of the ways I’m planning to use it is to take snippets of content from my Blog posts, and then sharing them on Twitter by selecting the “Share it” option.

I think this might be a good way to highlight content on your Blog, especially from older posts which might otherwise be lost to people.

All you have to do is select a recent post, scan through it until you find a short quote that you think would grab people’s attention, highlight it, and then click “Share It”.

Of course, you’ll first have to have the Highlighter utility installed on your Blog.

This is really easy to do, and it’s free.

Simply visit Highlighter.com and sign up for a new account.  Once you sign up for an account, you’ll be shown step-by-step instructions on how to set it up for your WordPress Blog.  It only takes a minute to get it up and running.
