I recently ordered a 3 point lighting system from ImageWest.tv.

It arrived yesterday and I decided to shoot an “unboxing” (rather unbagging) video to show you guys what comes in the box bag.

Near the end of the video I also did a quick little test, turning off all the lights in my room except for the single light bulb in my ceiling light to show you guys the difference between a poorly lit room and one that’s lit with a three point lightning system.

Keep in mind that I did not have time to adjust the light positions properly, or to make adjustments to the camera settings such as white balance etc. so the final picture is not as good as it will be once I tweak the camera settings a bit, but it gives you guys a general idea of the difference lighting can make in overall video quality.
