When I read things like this I always think back to what Eckhart Tolle teaches about surrender. Goals are mind shaped and create rigid paths that dont allow for compromise. When you live in the moment and surrender to what is, life will take you down the path of your higher selves greatest yearning. You will live with grace, not hope. You will see your life unfold in ways you never thought possible, and you'll realize that you experienced everything you wanted to without ever really trying to. That is called living in the flow, and burning your goals is a great first step to making that happen. Great post!

Awesome, Paul. Follow your spirit and you cannot go wrong. Your deepest self knows where you need to be, and how to get you there.

I think you did the right thing. Sometimes our ideas, aspirations, and goals can get in the way more than they help. at times you need to sit back and take things one day at a time. It can be hard to do this, but necessary.

Am I feeling this one ;)

I've been living this way for the last year now, and when I started I felt in a similar way. Now I use the placemat process from Abraham Hicks, where you write down your DAILY goals and on the other column you write what the universe does for you. And then you never look at it again and do another one the next morning.

In my own way, I also burn my goals :)

Goals should be adjusted and tweaked over time. If you don't meet every goal it's not a big deal. Just revisit and re-adjust your goals every few months and you'll be right on track.

Be sure to create short, mid and long terms goals and adjust accordingly. Short term are 6-12 months, mid term are 12-48 months and long term are 5 years plus.

Write them down and revisit them as often as needed.

Don't let your dreams die...
