My First Full Length Spirit Guide Reading

I have finally finished the “theory” side of the Automatic Intuition course I have been studying for the last couple of weeks.  Automatic Intuition is a Professional Intuitive Training, Certification & Mentoring Program created by Slade Roberson of ShiftYourSpirits.com.

In short, the course teaches a format for doing professional psychic readings.  The process is taught through a home-study course that combines written text in the form of a work-book, an attunement into the Universal Collective Intelligence / Akashic Records, audio lectures as well as personal one-on-one mentoring calls with Slade himself who has been doing psychic readings professionally for several years now.

In the last couple of weeks I have completed my attunement, reading and digesting the workbook, listening to all the audio lectures and had my first mentoring session with Slade.

With the “theory” side of he process under my belt, I felt that it was now time for me to get my feet wet and to move into the practical side of actually starting to do readings.

So, this afternoon I sat down, did a short meditation and proceeded to do my first “official” full length reading.  I have previously done short “mini-readings” with another mentor of mine (Chris Landry) as a warm up and confidence builder, but this was my first full on focused reading as taught in the Automatic Intuition course.

I was slightly nervous, but mostly just excited at the same time.  I have to say I was pleasantly surprised as to how quickly and easily the information began flowing for me.  It took me about an hour to complete the first part of the reading where I just connect and write down everything that comes through.    I was amazed at how much detail and information came through.  I was able to get the client’s spirit guide name, gender and a description as well as many other details.

It then took me approximately another five hours to synthesize and assemble the information into a cohesive package which I sent out to my first practice client.  There is no way it’s going to take me that long to do future readings.  It just took that long because it is my first time, I had to refer to the course materials to double check specific references and to create the format and template for the written reading.

By the time the reading was done I was wiped, but really excited about what the finished product came out as.  Hopefully it resonates with my practice client as well.

I’ve got about half a dozen more practice readings ready to roll as well which is good.  Now it’s just a matter of making time to complete them all.
