Launching the Inspired Money Maker Forums

Over the last few years I have received many emails from my readers suggesting I launch a discussion forum on this Blog.

I’ve dabbled with forums in the past but I have found that for a forum to be successful it requires either a very large traffic base or a very targeted topic, otherwise it’s easy for a forum to die from inactivity before it even gets a chance to get off the ground.

Building a successful forum is kind of like building a Blog.  The beginning stages are the hardest.  When you first start building a Blog, one of the hardest things to get going are comments.  Nobody wants to leave comments when nobody else is leaving comments.  Once a few people start leaving comments, others usually jump in.

Forums are the same way.  Once you get the initial group of people on-board and posting regularly, a forum usually starts to take off on its own.

Why I Decided to Launch a Forum Now

When I went through the exercise of writing my elevator pitch last week, I finally found the exact specific market I want to target – Internet Marketing for Inspired Entrepreneurs.

Getting clear on my target market made me realize that this is the right time to launch a forum.  My intention with launching the forum is to build a community of like-minded Inspired Entrepreneurs who can help each other grow and prosper online.

The forum will also give me an opportunity to dive into a more diverse array of topics and get some feedback from my readers.

A secondary benefit to the forums is that I am creating a number of private forums for my coaching and mentoring students where I can connect with them in between our live sessions, where I can provide them with resources and where they can connect with other students I’m mentoring.

So, it’s been a long time coming but I’m happy to announce the launch of the Inspired Money Maker Forums.
