Haven’t dropped by in a while. I’ve been giving some thought about switching gears as well… blogging on another topic – about learning how to make money online. I think the whole idea of teaching people how to make money online is a good direction to go – not only because it’s an interest of mine, but because I think it’s what many people want to learn.

From what I hear it’s a bit of a crowded market, but from what I see you’ve already started going in that direction. I guess the biggest challenge is to find out how you differentiate yourself from all the other online marketers out there. It’s probably the most common challenge we face as entrepreneurs.

So I’d like to see you continue along that line.

The third option sounds good too, because that’s what I would love to do – ha ha! I mean I do it now, just ramble on about anything and everything and I have managed to keep it up for three years….but have not managed to build up much of an audience. I know why though, I’m lazy with proof reading and fine tuning what I am thinking and b) I tried marketing it and it was to much effort. As soon as I stopped caring about it getting an audience I started having a couple readers…go figure? I reckon I could do ok with this, if I put more effort into my blog.

I definitely see you going with option number 1.

The audience will be more targeted –> small businesses people
You will bring lots of value to them and really help them increase their results and their influence.

I think you’d have lots of practical advice on how to have a presence on the internet thanks to your knowledge in marketing, and this can benefit a great deal to others.

Something like the early days of the blog cwire http://www.cwire.org/2006/01/ but with a bigger focus on businesses.

The need for Internet “knowledge” most businesses have is HUGE, most of them do not know anything about web marketing, though this is the one of the cheapest and most efficient way of getting known.

I think your technical skills + understanding of concerns of “lightworkers” + general knowledge of Internet marketing sphere can boost your influence like crazy and bring a lot to small business owners.

Anyway, whatever your choice is, good luck with it and I’m looking forward to reading your “new” blog!
