It is worth noting however that I have been adding in certain fast food establishments that I trust but only to fill hunger and realize all processed foods have high contents of garbage because that is the difference in larger profit.

You want a real diet, and don't want to work out?

1200 calories (max daily), I can skip meals and still eat what I want, Hydration guidelines are important, multi-vitamins, and everything in moderation. You make healthier choices when eating out, No matter what! If you skip the value meals, you can eat a good steak with vegetables, you get nutrients that the body uses to burn fat naturally. You are a machine! I agree exercise would help and you could have another meal, but I am 6'2" 170lbs, and can eat(within that limit) or drink (within limits below) whatever I want now and not gain a pound. I've refined the process with good results from Fall 2010, and am sharing the info below.

I am not naive about what our Country's Decades-before-fast-food appearances were, it was natural and "Everything in Moderation" worked! Okay think back to the WWII; when people were busy, motivated, and intelligent, and not stupid on television and advertisements, healthy eating, mid-50's, study history, Eisenhower, and FDR. OMG the Reality Shows, and television in general is making us all stupid, Whatever happened to literature pertaining to morals and ethics. Aristotle, Plato, and others of similar progression of right and wrong. Why do so many put their faith in a place of worship? God is for all to love. I don't think a denomination matters. "God Helps Those Who Help Themselves". It's no wonder most people are in the dark with life in general, "That's not directed personally to anyone, but should incite thought"

On with it, I drink whole milk, coffee, drink a soda 5x a year (if I'm desperate) , don't add salt or sugar to anything. I consume as little alcohol as possible. Preferably MGD(12oz 7mg sodium), Scotch, Cabranet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and rarely cognac(need a better job). Kinda of a food snob when it comes to nutritional contents. I won't eat Velveeta or Ramen; I'd rather starve. Vitamins are key. Breyer's Ice Cream, Dreyer's in that order, only. All natural, regular sales at Walmart. Vitamin Water has great nutritional values, not the solid colored ones though.

Minimum 40,000 scoville units of Hot sauce 3x a week, and Mad Dog Inferno when I'm feeling Brave. Capsaicin levels will provide your body with energy and kickstart your metabolism. Eat too much hot sauce and your endorphins will kick in, get you dizzy and high, and don't worry your taste buds are temporarily numb. It will take time to build tolerance. Over doing it can be fun once certain boundaries are understood. Just Do It! Ulcers can be cured with it. It will take time though because you are flushing the ulcer acid out of the body, and definately if you beat your tolerance of hot sauce it will also be painful. It's worth the wait. I swear by hot foods. Mr Stubb's Wicked Chicken Wing Sauce. (so many endorsements, not my intention, but it's hardcore eating with real results.

Clearing your head with natural, not organic (whole other subject) is at least better than the contents of fast food. I use baking soda and peroxide only. It works.

Use your mind. Question why diet plans sell a product. It's simple and free man, just alter the way and how much you eat. Enjoy!

How do you measure your fat content and the other parameters that you list? I would also like to measure by more than just pounds.

I have tried the South Beach diet and found that it took off 12 pounds immediately in Phase I but Phase II has been static with no weight loss after a few months. I know that I have to just take less calories in and that will be the key, more than the type of food. However, going through South Beach has definitely made me eat healthier foods than before.

@Mondo: I'm not afraid of hard work Mondo. However, results can only be achieved by applying work to an effective strategy that works. If the strategy is ineffective, you can work all you want and still not receive results.

It's like that in business as well. I know plenty of people that work *way* harder than I do, but make much less money. They cling onto the belief that hard work is the only thing that matters.

My belief is that if you take the time to understand the body and apply proper principles, you will begin to work *with* the body to help it get back into balance, rather than working against the body. That is why I'm testing out my own process for losing fat, because I think it's a lot easier to work with the body to give it what it needs to help you lose fat.

I never said I wasn't going to get back on P90X eventually, but in the beginning I want to lose fat without exercise so that I know my strategy works by itself, and not only in combination with a program like P90X.

Paul, Paul, Paul. P90X works my friend. You just didn't commit. It takes work. Some want it and work for it, some just want it. Understand? Look your self in the eyes... I think you do.
