I meant technically speaking once you launch your first campaign, you should start making revenue in the first few days of launch. After that, it’s just a matter of seeing how much revenue you’re making and how much it’s costing you. If your costs for that revenue are too high, then you need to make adjustments, such as lowering your CPC, improving your quality score etc. to lower your costs.

One thing I did in the beginning is I focused mainly on building up my revenues, while trying not to lose too much money. So for example, I would try to make $100 in revenue while breaking even with a cost of $100. Then I tried to increase that to $500 and break even. Then $1,000 etc. Once you can make revenue, and it’s not costing you anything (except time) to get to that point, all you have to do is just reduce your costs by 10% and theoretically you’re making a profit.

The hardet thing I found was getting approved by the CPA networks. But don´t worry they teach you in the ZFM system how you go about doing that and answering all they´re questions just right.

My best analogy I can make for learning affiliate marketing is kind of like learning a new language like English for example. How hard is it to learn English if you don’t speak it right now? It’s not easy right? It’s not something you learn in one weekend. However, it’s also not hard if you just work at it every day… if you practice everyday, within a few weeks you’ll start to be able to understand some things. Within a few months you’ll be even better… by 6 months you’re already 90% of the way there, and then the rest of the time is just mastery.

Same thing with affiliate marketing. You don’t learn everything in one day or a weekend. It takes learning, patience and testing.

The great thing about affiliate marketing is that once you learn how to do it, you can make a lot of money with it. You can earn $10k/m or even $50k/m and up with a one-person operation with very low overhead. Just your skills, a laptop, internet connection, and some money for advertising.

As for how much $ investment it takes…I’d say you need at least a few thousand dollars worth of room on your credit card to test with. That doesn’t mean you’ll lose that much, but it just means you may need to charge that to your CC in PPC traffic for example, before you get your check from the affiliate network to pay off your credit card.

But you don’t need tends of thousands of dollars either. Even just a bit of room on a credit card and $500 worth of “test” money could get you started in PPC affiliate marketing.
