What I’ve Been Up To Lately

Written by Paul Piotrowski - Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

I realize I haven’t been writing a lot of posts lately, so I wanted to write a quick post and just mention a few things I’ve been looking into lately.  These are all things that I’ve been taking a look at with varying degrees of interest.  Some of you might find some of these quite interesting, and some of you will probably think they’re all crap.  I’m pretty open minded when it comes to new stuff and I try to reserve my skepticism for after I’ve looked into things in more detail.

The last thing is just a funny video someone sent me.  It cracks me up.

The Winning Sage

winningsageThe first product is called “The Winning Sage – How Helene Hadsell Manifested a 50 Year Winning Streak”.  I just found this product on Monday.  It was sent to me by Dr. Joe Vitale, so I took a look.

Helene Hadsell is an 83 Year-Old lady who has basically been using the Law of Attraction for the last 50 years to win all kinds of contests, winning everything from kitchen appliances, cash, jewelry, trips and even a new house.  She has not only won a whole crap-load of stuff for herself, she has also taught the “secret” to doing this to her family and any friends who were open minded enough to listen.

I don’t even know why this particular product caught my attention, but just something about it made we want to buy the DVD and watch what this old lady had to say.  I bought a copy and have been watching it in segments for the last few days.  I wish I bought the DVD version though because now I’ve got all these MPEG-4 files that I can’t seem to figure out how to burn onto a DVD so I can watch it on my TV instead of on the computer.

I really, really like this lady.  She seems so genuine and nice, and she has some amazing stories to tell.  If you’re looking for a new perspective on Law of Attraction, you might want to check this out.  It’s nothing earth-shattering, as really when it comes to Law of Attraction there is nothing really new once you learn the basics, but sometimes just hearing different stories from different people’s perspectives makes a big difference.  I had a few “aha” moments while watching these video’s that made it well worth the investment.

Human Design

humandesign I’m still not 100% sure what I think about this next thing, as I don’t fully understand it yet.  Basically, how it works is that you start with your birth information (date / time / place of birth) and a software generates a chart for you that looks similar to the one on the left here.

The Human Design America site says that a person who knows Human Design could talk to you for over a week just by looking at your chart, but at the same time they could give you some very basic but important information about yourself in just a few sentences.

I still have a lot to learn about this thing, but I’ll give you an example of one piece of information my chart has told me so far.  My chart tells me that I’m something called a “Projector”.  There are many aspects to being a projector, but one thing that Human Design teaches is that as a “Projector” it is best for me to act as a guide for others but to wait for “invitations” before dispensing advice.  Meaning, I have the ability to “see” and “sense” certain information that people need to hear, but it is not advisable for me to just blurt it out at people until they ask for it.

Think of it this way.  I have a “coaching” link on my site here now.  When a person is ready, they can contact me for guidance / coaching. That’s a projector type strategy.  So is Blogging I would imagine.  People can choose when they are ready to read my posts and when to contact me.

There is a LOT more to it then that, but I’m just offering an example.  One cool thing is that you can get your own chart done for free.  There is a software on their website which you can download for free and do your own chart up.  It’s kind of neat.

Tracking202 Pro

tracking202pro Anyone who’s an affiliate marketer has probably already heard about this product as all the MMO Blogs have been talking about it, but I just started testing this thing out as of April 1st.

I’m still kind of running some tests to see how much I like it, but so far it’s been a pretty impressive piece of software.

Basically what it does is it takes all of your affiliate marketing data from the affiliate networks, and then combines it with your data from the search engines like Google or Yahoo or MSN and then it gives you statistics on how well your campaigns are doing to the keyword level.

I’ve used Prosper202 before and this is like the “Pro” version of that.  The biggest difference with this one is that it’s way easier to use.  It goes out and gets the data for you, unlike Prosper202 which you had to manually update yourself.

Charlie Bit Me

Most of you have probably already seen this as it’s been all over the Internet, but nevertheless I figured I’d put it up for anyone who still hasn’t seen this.  It’s one of those silly viral video’s that’s been spreading all over the Internet.

I don’t even know why it’s funny, but it makes me laugh every time I watch it.  I think it’s the way Charlie laughs near 0:38 that really gets me.  LOL.  Charlie is a jerk.

Thanks for the link to human design, Paul. I found it really, really interesting. Turns out I’m a “manifestor” and my strategy is “to inform.” It really rang true with me, and so did explanations of my profile (2/4). I downloaded the MMI software and I’m not really sure what to do with the information yet. But it’s all so fascinating, and I’m going to do more research on it.

Everything you discover and share with on your blog is so intriguing, and slightly addictive. Keep it up. :)

  3. @Matias: Cool. I knew as soon as I posted my little problem, someone would recommend a software. I found this software called Videora iPod that helped me to convert the files to use on my iPod Video, but now I have to find a way to put it on DVD. THanks I’ll check that out.
