Intro the the Law of Attraction Seminar

Written by Paul Piotrowski - Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

Last weekend I went to a seminar put together by Dr. Nima called “Intro to the Law of Attraction”.  I consider myself fairly knowledgeable in the Law of Attraction, but I went to the seminar because I know that Dr. Nima’s training and understanding of the Law of Attraction (LoA) is different from mine.  His experience and training with LoA is based on a combination of the teachings of “The Science of Getting Rich” and the work of Dr. Demartini.

Although the seminar was just an introduction and the real meat and potatoes will be taught in a four week intensive coming up this month, I did learn something very profound about myself this last weekend.

The seminar focused on identifying and becoming crystal clear on your values in life.  Through a series of guided exercises, Dr. Nima taught us how to accurately identify our deepest and most important values.  Prior to attending this seminar and going through the exercises, if you asked me what my highest values are, I would have told you that making money, building wealth and being financially independent would have been at or near the top of my list.

After all, I have a whole Blog dedicated to talking about money, how to make money, building wealth etc. and I own hundreds of books on the topic of making money and building wealth.  What I learned at the seminar is that even though I know a lot about money and building wealth, and I can teach people a lot of different things on this topic, personally for myself in my life at this point in time, making money hasn’t been a big value of mine.

Learning this about myself was rather shocking, but it totally made sense.  What I discovered is that I have other values which rank much higher than making money and that is why those areas of my life have improved and grown over the last few years while my income and net worth have not experienced the same kind of growth.

This was a very eye opening experience for me.  I identified a conflict in my values.  It explained why my PPC affiliate marketing income and other sources of income have been sporadic lately.  I’ve had so many people and circumstances come into my life offering to pay me money, and I’ve been turning them away.  At the same time I’ve been reading and utilizing all kinds of techniques for trying to attract and manifest more money in my life.  Talk about being conflicted.

I’ve now began taking steps towards getting rid of this conflict and I’m noticing changes already.  I’m so excited to see what happens next.  The tools I’ve learned at this thing are phenomenal.  I’m going to be incorporating them in my coaching work, and I can’t wait to learn even more tools at the intensive training.

If you’re lucky enough to live in the Lower Mainland here in BC, Dr. Nima is holding the same seminar again this Saturday, April 4th at the Westgate Wellness Centre.  The seminar costs $35 and seating is limited to 15 registrants.  Call the Westgate Wellness Centre if you’d like to reserve a spot.

The four week intensive course starts the following Thursday, April 9th at 7pm and goes on for four weeks every Thursday after that.  The cost of the intensive course is only $497 and I highly recommend going to it if you live locally here in the Lower Mainland.  For anyone who’s not local here, I’m trying to see if I can talk Dr. Nima into recording the Intensive Seminar and possibly offering it as a home study video course you can buy.  What do you guys think?  Would you be interested in a home study video course version?

It’s the same thing with the Photoreading method. First you find out what you WANT to read about, THEN you’ll be able to read at high speed.

Home study video course: That would be great :-)

    Definitely interested!

    This is a great post…

I understand what you are talking about… I noticed my income streams reach a plateau and reassessed my goals, I found that when I truly looked at my situation that I was extremely happy at that time with my income but this came second to working around my family and spending quality time with them…

    Thanks for sharing,

    Karl
