P90X – Day 40 – Legs and Back

After yesterday’s not so intense Yoga X workout, I wanted to really “Bring It” today, so I really pushed myself on today’s Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X workout. 

I started my workout a lot earlier this evening at 11:30pm or so, and it was a good thing too because about 10 minutes after I finished my workout the power went out at my place.  There have been some wind storms in the area and we’ve been having power problems for most of the day.

It’s funny because after the power went out I realized I hadn’t had my recovery drink yet, so I had to go make that in the dark with a flashlight.  I was going to go to bed, and then the power came back on so I came back down here to write this Blog post.

Today I felt really good about my workout.  I’ve been feeling a lot stronger in my back, abs and legs especially.  I just need to keep working on improving my diet now.  For lunch I made some hot dogs and for dinner we ended up going out to Pizza Hut since the power was out.  I considered ordering a salad there, but the last time I did that it tasted really gross so I just ended up having wings and pizza.  I know, crappy food again.  The crazy thing is that I actually think I’m not getting enough calories right now eating out, because my body doesn’t enjoy eating crappy food anymore so I don’t eat a lot of it even when I’m out.
