P90X – Day 39 – Yoga X
Today was a super busy day for me. Was out for most of the day and then I had a bunch of things to organize when I got home. At around 1:30am I was sitting in my living room writing in my journal, and just absolutely dreading having to do my Yoga X workout today. I don’t know what it was, but I was just really drained today.
I decided to just go downstairs and pop in the Yoga X DVD and to just try to do what I could. I ended up doing about 50 minutes out of the total 90. I did about 30 minutes from the first part of the DVD and then the stretches in the last 20 minutes of the DVD. It was still a good workout, but I definitely not as good as it should have been.
I need to definitely organize my time better to do my workouts earlier. One in the morning is no time to be starting Yoga X.
For food I had half of a Bic Mac from McDonald’s today. It tasted so disgusting I couldn’t stomach the other half. I just can’t eat that kind of crap anymore, it doesn’t taste good. For dinner my wife made a nice Chicken Breast Caesar Salad which tasted really good. I had a couple of pieces of toast with Nutella a bit later on in the evening as well.
I feel like I’m falling off my diet. I haven’t been home the last few weeks and so I can’t cook the meals in the guide, so I end up eating food at restaurants that isn’t so good. I need to figure out a solution to this.

Try carrying around protein bars with you, and other dense snacks like nuts or even fruit. There’s lots of half decent fast food solutions out there too, like Pita Pit, or even sushi (avocado rolls, etc).
You gotta get back on track with diet. Big macs, fries, and pop will kill your progress.
@Marc: Yes, you’re absolutely right. I think there is a “mental attitude” issue at the root of this as well. There’s something with my thinking that needs to get adjusted, and the right actions will follow. I’m going to have to get to the root of this.
