P90X – Day 28 – Rest Day
Today I took a total rest day. Had the choice of either resting or doing my X Stretch workout, but I decided to just rest in preparation for tomorrows new start on Phase II of the plan.
Diet wise I also allowed myself to eat crap today and to just get any cravings I’ve had out of my system before starting up on Phase II of the P90X diet plan as well. For lunch I got a Big Mac from McDonald’s as I’ve been kind of craving them for a while. Once I started eating it though, it tasted nothing like the fantasy in my head. I only ate like a quarter of it as it was pretty disgusting. The Coke also tasted like sugar syrup.
For dinner my lovely wife made beef ribs, potatoes and steamed broccoli. Then later on I had a couple of pieces of toast with Nutella on them (another thing I was craving), and even later I had some leftover Chinese food. I totally binged but whatever – I told myself that today was my day off and I could eat whatever I was craving for the last 4 weeks since starting the program.
Anyways, that’s pretty much it for reporting. Tomorrow I start on Week 5 which is the first week of the second phase. Wooo…scary!
