P90X – Day 25 – X Stretch
Today the workout was really easy as it was the X Stretch DVD which is basically just one hour of nothing but stretching to improve flexibility. It’s definitely the easiest of all the P90X DVD’s as you don’t sweat a lot and there is no strength training involved, but flexibility is still a very important and often ignored aspect of fitness.
This is “Recovery Week” as well so it’s a good time for my muscles to recuperate from the onslaught they had to endure during the first three weeks of the program, before doing it all over again starting next week.
As for diet today, I skipped breakfast (I know, bad!) and for lunch I ended up making myself the exact same Turkey Sandwich today as I made yesterday (see pic in yesterdays post) as it tasted so good.
I ended up going out for dinner and I had a Caesar salad, beef ribs, a baked potato and a bit of coleslaw. I didn’t eat too bad today, but it definitely wasn’t a perfect P90X diet day.

Hey Paul,
I found your site at John is Fit and wanted to tell you that I think it’s great that you’re going through the P90X. When do you check your stats such as weight losss, body fat and waist size? The program is remarkable and I’m interested in starting myself.
I would think at the end of it all or since you’re keeping a day by day journal of this, maybe at the end of each phase. Either way, good luck.
@Tom: I measure my stats every week, but I am choosing not to publicly display them yet. I am thinking I’ll either show my stats on the 30th, 60th, and 90th day, or maybe just wait until day 90 and then do a “reveal”. What do you think?
