P90X – Day 20 – Kenpo X

Today was the last workout for Week 3 of the P90X program I’m on.  I can’t believe I’ve already been doing this for three weeks.  It seems like only yesterday that I started the program.

It’s really late so I don’t have a lot of time to write a post today but I just wanted to write up this quick daily post on my progress.  The Kenpo X workout went really well today.  I also noticed that my quads and gluteus muscles were really sore today, probably from doing wall squats yesterday or maybe the Yoga X workout on Thursday.

For diet today I had a Chicken Scramble for breakfast and I took a picture but I’m way too tired right now to run upstairs and grab the memory stick.  I was really tired around lunch so I had a short nap and then did my workout.  After my workout I had my recovery drink and then didn’t eat again until dinner time.  For dinner, my wife and I went out for Chinese food.  I had Chicken Egg Foo Yung, Almond Chicken, Mixed Vegetables and Chicken Fried Rice.

I was thinking about getting the nutritional stats to enter into my software but I can’t figure out how to calculate all those things.  Maybe I’ll figure it out tomorrow.  Either that, or I’ll just put today down as an “off” day for diet and not track the Calories for it.

Next week is the start of “Recovery Week” on the P90X system.  I’m looking forward to the change.  I think my muscles need  a break from the strength training.
