Winners of Inspired Affiliate Marketing Challenge #2 Announced

Ladies and gentlemen, the results for the second Inspired Affiliate Marketing Challenge have arrived.  This challenge took place between December 13th and January 14th, which I know is a pretty hectic time for everyone due to the holidays and everything associated with them.

This competition included some exciting new ways that our participants could win prizes, and a new “Affiliate Incubator” category for affiliates who are just starting out with Amped Media to compete with others who are new to the Amped Media network.

 

Main Category Winners

Let’s start with the Main Category winners first.  The three winners in this category have a choice of picking one of these three prizes, with choice being given in the order that the affiliates ranked in this category.

Each winner also has the option to carry over his or her earnings to next month’s competition instead of selecting a prize if they want to help their chances of winning one of the Super Affiliate Category prizes.

The winners in the Main Category are:

 

1st Place Winner – CD1374

Our 1st place winner is CD1374 (aka Richard Bonner) who was also a winner in the previous affiliate marketing challenge, placing second in that one.  By winning first place Richard gets first choice on selecting one of the prizes above, or he may choose to carry over his winnings to the next challenge to try to go after one of the Super Affiliate prizes.  What will it be Richard? 

 

2nd Place Winner – CD1369

The 2nd place winner is CD1369 (aka Tara) who placed first in last months challenge.  If Richard decides to pick one of the prizes above, Tara will get 2nd pick for placing 2nd in the competition.  If Richard decides to carry over his earnings to the next challenge, she will get first pick on the prizes, unless of course she decides to carry over her earnings as well.

 

3rd Place Winner – CD1636

The 3rd place winner is CD1636.  In the last challenge CD1636 just missed the 3rd place spot getting beaten out by CD1665.  For this competition CD1636 grew his revenues by about 166% compared to the last competition so secure the 3rd spot.  Depending on what Richard and Tara decide to do as far as selecting prizes or carrying forward, CD1636 will either get a chance to pick one of the prizes above or to carry over earnings into the next challenge.

 

Main Category Results

I am actually going to hold off reporting the exact stats that the top three spot contenders generated as I’m waiting for the exact to-the-penny numbers report from Amped Media to confirm my numbers are 100% accurate.

 

Affiliate Incubator Category Winners

The affiliate incubator category was something new I tried out for the second challenge, to give affiliates who are new to the network an opportunity to compete with others who just got started with Amped Media.  As with the Main Category, there were three prizes that the winners will get to choose from.  The prizes are as follows:

Prize #1: Logitech – G15 Gaming Keyboard With LCD Display

 

 

 

Prize #2: Sony – Bluetooth Wireless Headphones (Black)

 

 

Prize #3: Belkin – Nostromo SpeedPad n52te Gamepad

 

 

Also as in the Main Category, the winners can choose one of the prizes above or to carry over their earnings for the next competition.  The winners get choice on the prizes above in the same order that they ranked in the contest.

The winners in the Affiliate Incubator category are:

 

1st Place Winner – CD1636 ($205.80)

Our 1st place winner is CD1636 with earnings of $205.80, who also placed 3rd in the Main Category.  CD1636 will have to choose whether to pick a prize in each of the two categories or to carry over their earnings. Hmm… it will be interesting to see what they decide to do.

 

2nd Place Winner – CD1413 ($17.50)

The 2nd place winner is CD1413 with earnings of $17.50.  CD1413 will get second choice on one of the above prizes once CD1636 has made their choice.

 

3rd Place Winner – CD1897 ($8.75)

The 3rd place winner is CD1897 with earnings of just $8.75.  What’s even crazier than this is that the 4th place spot was at $8.25.  It looks like CD1897 will go home with a prize because they kept pushing a little bit more traffic each day and ended up winning by just 50 cents!

 

What’s Next?

Tomorrow I will be h
aving a chat with Amped Media to work out a strategy for where to go next.  I was really hoping to grow our numbers from the first competition and continue to grow with each challenge.  It looks like the numbers in the second challenge weren’t as strong as the first one.  I am not sure if this was due to the fact that the competition happened during the holidays and people were too busy with that to focus on contests like this or if there are other factors involved.

We’re going to strategize and come back to you guys with where we’re going to take these challenges next.  In the meantime, don’t wait!  The clock on the next competition started as soon as the previous one ended so anything you’re earning now will count towards it.
