Inspired Affiliate Merges With Inspired Money Maker

As part of my new business strategy for 2009 I have decided to merge my two main Blogs – InspiredAffiliate.com and InspiredMoneyMaker.com.  When I initially launched InspiredAffiliate.com back in August I wanted to keep my affiliate marketing efforts totally separate from the work I’ve been doing on my Inspired Money Maker Blog.

I thought that the world of affiliate marketing was separate from learning how to make money doing what you love and I didn’t really think that many people who were originally attracted to Inspired Money Maker would appreciate all the talk about making money online.  I also thought that my affiliate marketing audience would be more interested in affiliate marketing tips and strategies than the topics I discuss on Inspired Money Maker.

Over the last few months I have been increasingly seeing that the two worlds are not so different after all.  The very same blocks that plague aspiring Inspired Money Makers plague aspiring Affiliate Marketers as well.  Many times I’ve written a post on one Blog and thought about the benefit it could bring to the audience on the other Blog and vice versa.

For a while now I’ve still seen the themes of the two Blogs as separate though and so I kept them separate until I could figure out exactly what I wanted to do moving forward.

Today, while working on my plans and goals for 2009 I began to clarify my vision of how I’d like to evolve my Blogs and online businesses over the next few years and with a sudden flash of intuitive inspiration I saw a unified vision that brought everything I’m working on together, and it got me really excited.  Instantly I knew I had to merge InspiredAffiliate.com and InspiredMoneyMaker.com into one Blog which will be something much greater than the sum of the two parts.

Even though I know merging two Blogs is a risky venture and I could potentially lose some of my InspiredAffiliate.com subscribers in the process due to the move, I am confident that this is the right choice and I really hope that my Inspired Affiliate RSS subscribers end up coming along.

I currently have Feedburner forwarding the old feed to the new one, but I’m not sure how well that’s going to work so it’s much safer to just subscribe to the new feed above.

I believe I have been able to import all the posts from InspiredAffiliate.com and the comments without any issues, but please bear with me throughout the next while as I tweak and make sure everything went fine with the merger.

I’m really excited about the new direction I’m going to be taking Inspired Money Maker, and I think you guys are going to get a lot of value from it.
