Blog World Expo: Make Money Online with a Blog Video
This is the video I shot at the Blog World Expo last weekend. The topic discussed was “Make Money Online with a Blog” and the panel included John Chow, Darren Rowse, Zac Johnson and Jeremy Schoemaker. To get in on these sessions you had to pay the $300 ticket price, so here’s a freebie for you guys. You get to listen to the top A-List Bloggers tell you how to make money from your Blog.
I apologize for the “unsteady” nature of the video. I was sitting fairly far back so I had to use the digital zoom on the camera to get in close enough to see the panelists, while at the same time holding up the camera in a position where my elbow wasn’t supported, while at the same time dodging the movements of the people in front of me so as not to shoot a video of the back of their heads.
It’s a little rough and bumpy at times but it’s really what they say that matters and not what you see on the screen so I hope you guys enjoy it. I still have a lot to learn about video editing (and shooting video obviously) so it doesn’t look all that great, but I figured I’d post it as quickly as I can and maybe I’ll work on editing it and making it smaller sized in the future.
Oh, and thanks go out to my brother Bart from Qshifter Hobbies for lending me his super cool little Sony HD Video Cam.

@Sherry: Oh cool! I bet there is a video somewhere out there from Blog World which has me somewhere in it, lol. Welcome to the site, and thanks for your kind words.
@Ace: It first I wasn’t sure if they would allow “recording” the sessions. But then when I thought about it…this IS Blog World Expo… what do Bloggers do? They record everything! It would have been pretty dumb of them to not allow pictures or video at the convention. Before walking into the room, just to double check, I asked the lady at the door “Are we allowed to record?” and she said “Oh, uhm, I am not sure.” which basically means you can record because if you couldn’t they would have given them strict instructions to tell everyone not to like they do at a David Copperfield magic show.
