Inspired Affiliate Report – Week 1

Written by Paul Piotrowski - Sunday, August 31st, 2008

Well, it’s been a week since I launched InspiredAffiliate.com .  It’s been a super busy week for me but I got a lot accomplished.  I have officially incorporated my new company which will act as the parent company for all of my Internet / Affiliate Marketing projects.  The name of the company is Ignite Vision Marketing .

The next steps now are to get a bank account setup, a Paypal account, Google accounts, start registering for some affiliate networks like Market Leverage etc., get some business cards created, setup a basic website, design a logo, and get some business cards designed and printed for when I go to Blog World Expo next month in Vegas.

Also, I have some accounts already setup with Market Leverage and Google under my InspiredMoneyMaker.com company so I’ve been using those in the meantime to do some testing and learning of PPC Affiliate Marketing.

There’s definitely a lot to learn in this game, but it’s quite fun actually.  I’ll do another post later on and report my progress so far.  I’ve been experimenting with two campaigns so far, and today I added in a third.

I’m trying out different market segments and different types of offers as well.  Two of the offers are offers where I get paid when a person purchases a product, and today I setup an offer for a "Zip Submit" which basically means I get paid a smaller commission simply for the person submitting his zip code into a form.

Today I just got a toolset called Prosper202.com setup which will help me to keep track of my profitable keywords and campaigns more closely.

Great post, I think this stuff does take some time to figure out in the beginning. Especially PPC, landing pages, etc.

Hey, did Market Leverage require a phone call to verify you?

I was wondering where the heck you went, then it dawned on me – he’s probably been posting on the new blog, duh!

    You have been indeed.

Sounds like you’ve got a full plate my friend, and I genuinely look forwarding to your progress reports – especially when you get back from Vegas!

  4. @Tip Jar: Yes, most affiliate networks have to verify your identity by calling you on the phone.
