I am so inspired and grateful to have found your website. Today while working at my dead end job in health care, I was searching the web looking for solutions for my small home based web development business. While searching google for shell scripts that automatically generate virtual hosts in apache, I inadvertently clicked on a user of del.icio.us’s account name to see what similar bookmarks they had for this task. I then saw your 101 tips writing which I found so enticing and to be an example of the law of attraction. I read through that post and then I stumbled upon this, and every word seemed to describe how I am feeling lately. I am so interested in your mentorship and I plan on reading your site daily. Thanks so much!

Let’s use “Mary” as an example to illustrate my point.

Mary can create an online presence and teach other Energy healers how to setup a home-based Energy Healing practice, based on everything she’s learned from doing it herself. This would be the “I make money online by teaching other people how to be energy healers” model. Whereas normally Mary was doing this:

Mary > Energy Healing Client

She would now be doing this online:

Mary > Energy Healing Practitioner > Energy Healing Client

Essentially she’s working with other people who want to be energy healers. It’s basically going from the B to C (business to customer) model to the B to B to C model.

However, that’s just ONE way to set it up. Mary COULD just as easily setup an online model where she just uses her website to increase her customer base, basically just improving her B to C model.

She *could* even have an online model that teaches her B to C clients things. For example, she could setup a subscription service for every one of her in-person clients who pay $50/session to also subscribe to her online-membership site for $19.99/m. The membership site provides them amazing information on how to better manage their energy levels, how to stay healthy, etc. Maybe the membership site has videos of how to stretch, how to exercise, meditation music, self-hypnosis audio’s, merchandise reviews (how to buy a pill that will support your neck!), diet tips, or anything else Mary might have learned.

Think of it this way. Lets say you went to see Mary. For the initial session she charges $199. It’s a 2 hour session where she gives you a whole bunch of information, some reading materials, a DVD you can watch at home, and then she does a 15minute energy healing session.

Well, if Mary sets up this online site she could automate that part of the process online so that the only part she needs to do with you in person is the in-person healing session. Perhaps she can setup the site to send you the information 7 days prior to your appointment, etc.

As you can see, there are plenty of ways that Mary could make money just dealing with clients. However, she may also choose to duplicate herself and create “other Mary’s” out there if, for example, she wants to teach others to do the in-person energy work.

It really all depends on what you want to do, but you can DEFINITELY, ABSOLUTELY make money even if you don’t follow the “I make money by teaching people to make money” or “lightworkers helping other lightworkers to help people” models.

The membership program I’m putting together will address all of that and help people choose the appropriate business models that meet their needs.

Can we really be a efficient and financially sucessful lightworker by helping people and not just teaching them how to help people ?
