Another great post and really interesting to see all the different reasons people give for not working at what they love. I particularly like the one about loveing one’s lifestyle, but hating the job as that’s a big one that crops up with the people I work with – that and as many others said, not being clear on what their passions are. My own thought on this is how possible is it to pursue a job you love IF you also have responsibilities (financial, emotional etc) that can act as a break on our actions ie, how does one walk the often fine line between doing what one loves, and keeping others happy. A good example of this might be, wanting to move abroad to live and work, but having relatives to care for who can’t easily travel – always a tricky one I feel, and I’d be interested in your thoughts.
