Make Money Online Sharing Your Inner Genius

What is Joel Comm Up to Now?

Written by Paul Piotrowski - Thursday, May 1st, 2008

So I get this email from Joel Comm this morning about his big product launch this morning. It’s launching at noon EST, which is in about 25 minutes. The product he’s launching is Instant Resale Templates. By the time you go to the link it might be sold out, but when I went to the link I saw a 10 minute video showing what happened last time he did a launch like this.

It’s pretty crazy to see how he made like 15 grand in a matter of minutes. He’s labeling these templates as “an online turnkey solution for anyone wanting to make money online.” Honestly, I’ve never played with Instant Resale Templates before, but for some of you who might be interested in such a thing you can check out the launch on his website here.

I just liked the little video on the page. Pretty crazy how people are making money on the Internet out there.

  1. It’s making money by telling people how to make money.

Yes he is a big talker.
He is definitely making money by fooling others.
But I might think about this product –LOL..and then write about it.

  3. @make150aday: Fooling others? I don’t really know what this new product of his is about as I haven’t had time to look at it yet, but everything I’ve purchased from Joel Comm so far has been well worth the price paid. I would actually say that he’s one of the few Internet Marketers out there that over delivers on all his transactions with people. I haven’t seen him “fool” people.

Having said that, purchasing AdSense templates might not be everyone’s cup of tea, so I’m not saying this product is for everyone, but if someone IS looking for that type of thing, I would guess that it will probably over deliver.

    Yet another scam…
Obviously he didn’t learn any lessons from the adsense secrets book he tried to scam people into a subscription service without them knowing, but then again that was a great marketing trick with his goofy ‘i’m sorry’ images popping up on blogs everywhere…
When you visit that new site and click on the close button, he has a stupid javascript message telling you how much you will miss out on now if you leave & a lovely looking sales woman pop up in the background telling you the same, pretending she is live…
type bullshit into her chatbox a few times & she can’t handle it as he hasn’t set up any automated answers yet, type scam in a few times & you will see he has scripted the answer ok, but its the same answer all the time…
more hard sales bullsh*it, this man is no better then the so called DrJeffrey Llant…

  5. @dave: I don’t like popup things like that either. My understanding is that a lot of people do end up buying because of them though, so I think internet marketers will continue to use them until people stop responding to them.

Kind of funny what you said there, makes me want to go there and type in some stuff to see what answers pop up. But then again that could be another marketing ploy! :)

He did not deliver what he promised on this Instant Resale Templates. I received an email from his company’s (informedia) customer service, before receiving the DVDs. The email informed that

“Upon investigation of this set, it has come to our attention that there are a handful of images on the DVD that may not qualify under the reseller’s rights terms. While we did due diligence in working with our developers, we have reason to believe that they may have misrepresented the ownership of these images.

That said, the current DVD(s) in your possession are not suitable for resale and we would ask you to destroy them.”

So I received another set of DVDs, in which the templates are very different from those showed in the sales page. The quality of the templates is low.

I am asking a refund anyway, although it was stated no refund. The reason being the sales page with the images showed is misrepresentng the products. I will not buy anything from him.

  7. @ct: Joel’s usually pretty good with making sure his clients are happy.

I’m sure they’ll work something out for you if you’re not happy with your purchase.
