I’ve been racking my brain lately trying to figure out what kind of contest I could run on my Blog. In the meantime, John Chow is running a contest on his site for 10,000 Entrecard Credits. I guess he’s been accumulating them up for a while now and he’s going to be giving away 10,000 credits to one blogger at the end of this month.

What do you guys think about blog contests? I haven’t done any yet since launching this blog and I’m definitely willing to do something but I’m really having a tough time deciding what to do. Anyone have any brilliant suggestions?

I’ve seen some bloggers use contests and get some really good results building up some buzz, but I’ve also seen some bloggers completely flop with their contests. I’d love to hear what you guys think about blog contests and if you have any ideas for what kind of contest I could run.
