Holographic Visualization

Written by Paul Piotrowski - Sunday, October 14th, 2007

I have been using visualization for years to visualize my goals and the things I wanted to create in my life. The process I would follow would be to sit down in a quiet place and close my eyes and to try to “visualize” the things I wanted. When I say the word “visualize” I don’t mean it literally, as nothing visual would actually happen. It was actually more of a mental process for me of just THINKING about the the thing I wanted and I would try to describe in as much as I could mentally and think about it trying to connect to it as much as I could.

I would think of words that describe the thing I wanted to create and to be as precise as possible with it.

This morning I discovered a totally different level of visualization. It is basically a full, 3D Holographic form of visualization where you truly SEE what it is that you desire. One of the side effects of clearly defining my Inspired Money Maker identity is that my brain has been waking me up really early for the last few days since I wrote the list. Today is Saturday and I normally sleep in till about 9am or later on Saturdays but this morning my brain woke me up at 5:45am and I really wanted to get out of bed and start my day. I got out of bed, and was reading Pat O’Bryan’s “Your Portable Empire” book all morning. A few hours later I finished the book and I started to get a bit tired. I decided to lie down on the couch and to just “rest” for a bit.

My wife came into the living room and was reading a book. I was lying there on the couch with my eyes closed and slowly started to almost fall asleep but I was fully awake. Then something weird happened. I was lying there, and my eyes were closed but I could “SEE” the room just as if my eyes were open, except I had a laptop computer on my lap in front of me. I didn’t realize that I was “dreaming” and I began trying to type some stuff on the laptop. I was trying to go to some website but everytime I would try to type the URL it kept changing on me. That’s when I had the thought “Is this some kind of dream or something?” I looked to my left and I could see my wife reading her book, but I became aware of the fact that I actually had my eyes closed. It was like a really weird lucid dream.

So what did I do next? I decided to use this opportunity to visualize! In this “dream” I felt myself get off the couch I was lying on and I walked across my dining room and I went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I saw myself there. One of the things that I really always wanted to learn how to do is to visualize myself with big muscles and so while looking in the mirror I waved my hands in front of my eyes for a second and instead of my body I saw my head but my body was super muscular. It was awesome! What was really weird is that I could actually FEEL the muscle on my frame. I felt like I weighed more and I was a lot stronger. I did like an Arnold flex in front of the mirror and I could ACTUALLY FEEL every fibre in my huge muscles flex as if I really had them! It was so cool. Then I looked in the mirror again and I realized that I looked like an oversized gorilla with these ginormous muscles so I waved my hands in front of my eyes again (in an almost Jedi motion) and now I had big muscles but not steroid freak big, but just big enough. Nice pecs, nice biceps, the works. It was so cool.

I don’t know if my wife flipped a page in her book or the cat jumped off the couch or whatever but I heard something and it pulled me back to “reality” but I didn’t awake. I was still lying on the couch but my vision returned to lying there, looking around the room, still with my eyes closed. So I decided to try it again. I got up (in my vision/dream) and walked away from the couch, went downstairs and walked into my office. I decided I wanted to create something different with it so I started to use the same hand waving motion to re-create my office into something new. It didn’t really work because I really had no idea what I wanted my office to look like. Besides a little cleaner, I obviously haven’t thought about it enough yet.

So next, I decided to see if I could visualize my new car! I went out of my office, through a door and went outside and walked up my driveway and I saw my existing car. I starting thinking “I want to see my new car.” which is a black Acura TL Type-S. I walked past my car and saw a black car closer towards the street. I walked up to it and it was an older car, no the TL I want and I tried to turn it into a TL but it wasn’t really working that well. My brain was trying to “think” how does a TL look like from the outside and the more “thinking” I tried to do the more I started to “wake up” so I stopped and instead focused on the interior because I can remember seing pictures of it much more detailed than the exterior.

Next I went into the car and started to drive it onto the street. As I started to drive it I realized that it’s STANDARD so I had to remember to push the clutch in and shift gears as I drove it. I actually geared down as I approached the first Stop sign and I was TOTALLY driving it. I mean this in a TOTAL real way. Just like in a dream you have. I could feel the car, I could feel the acceleration, I could see the sky, the road, the trees, the steering wheel, the shifter, the clutch, everything. Not some “thought” about the process, but rather I was INSIDE the DREAM. This was a full 3D Holographic Dream visualization of the car I want.

Next I got bored of driving it and wanted to visualize other stuff so I came back to the couch and worked on a few more visualizations.

This is the first time I’ve ever done this before. I’ve had lucid dreams before, but I’ve never actually been this awake in them while at the same time keeping the dream feeling real.

I am DEFINITELY going to figure out how to do this more often, because it felt great. I could literally SEE and FEEL and HEAR and TOUCH the things I wanted. Not in some form of “thinking about them” way of visualizing, but rather actually REALLY experiencing them just as if they were real. If I went outside right now in real life and got in an Acura TL-Type S and drove it onto the street heading towards the Stop sign, it would NOT be any different than what I experienced in my 3D Holographic Visualization. My visualization was that real.

I’m completely blown away how cool this is. I can’t wait to try it again.

Comments:

  1. Have you discovered how you can enter in this state ? Any news about this ?

  2. I was looking for Holographic Visualization and I found your article. I just wonder if you may have had an Out Of Body Experience. Are you on Facebook? In case you can see a group there. I have never had an OOBE and I would like to have that :-) . I am not sure as you tell that you drove a car…but I have never had an OOBE and maybe this can be your case, as you also tell that you have not been able to have the same experience again.

This guy has had very interesting experiences, you may compare with him. He is at the Facebook group above

  4. This sometimes happens to me as well.

  5. @Michael: No, I haven’t actively tried, but since that day I haven’t been able to reproduce those results. I wish I could though, it was an amazing experience.
