Inspired Money Maker Opens Its Doors
I want to help people make money, and lots of it. I want to help them make it with integrity and in complete alignment with their values and spiritual beliefs. This blog will not be focusing on the logical side of making money such as how to incorporate a business, or how investments work, or how to save money on taxes, or things of that nature. This blog is going to focus on the more important and very often overlooked sides of making money – the mental, emotional and spiritual sides of making money.
I don’t care how smart or educated you are, or how hard you work, you simply will never have a healthy relationship with money if your mental / emotional and spiritual beliefs about money are not aligned. If you’re an amazing artist but you cringe in embarassment and guilt when presenting your customer with an invoice for the work you’ve done, you need to take care of that. If you’re making money but it’s flowing through your hands and out the door faster than you can make it, that needs to be addressed. If you believe that “A penny saved is a penny earned.” and at the same time “Penny wise, pound foolish.”, your beliefs are conflicting with each other.
These are the things I will be discussing. Things like how do affirmations work? Do they work? What about beliefs? What are they? What are all these things like the Emotional Freedom Technique, or the Law of Attraction or The Secret? How do they relate to you? How can they help you make money? Can they help, or are they all just hype? What else is out there that you don’t even know about? Can you hypnotize yourself to make money? Can a psychic help? What do your parents have to do with your money situation? Are we meant to be broke? Are we meant to be rich? What about meditation?
These are all topics that I find fascinating and I’ve devoted a large part of my life studying money. Not because I’m greedy or in love with it, but because I recognized early on in life that money is a large and important part of my life that affects me in many ways and much like my health or personal relationships, it shouldn’t be ignored. I also realized early on that there are very few people out there that really know anything about money. It’s almost like money is a dirty word or something and we’re not supposed to know about it, or that somehow money is so complex that it’s uncomprehensible. I really don’t think it’s that complicated, but I do think that people have been looking for answers in the wrong place.
I’ll end with this example. If you wake up in the morning and you believe that “Money is the root of all evil.” and you’re having credit card debt problems, a debt-reconcilliation loan is probably not going to help you get out of debt. Instead of booking an appointment with your banker, you might want to work on your beliefs because your beliefs are what could be causing you to spend more than you make so that you get rid of as much of that “evil” from your life as possible.
Similarly, if you believe that “You’ve got to work hard for your money.” how well is your stock portfolio going to do if you’re not “working hard” for the returns?
We’ll dive into all kinds of stuff like this on this blog so stay tuned.
